The argument lives in the cut.
Water, household activity, vegetation, waste, and fire recur across a sequence of borrowed images. Their proximity makes a connection between familiar routines and consequences that are easier to keep out of sight.
Conceived as a silent experimental video, the piece uses juxtaposition, pacing, and visual contrast to carry its argument. The editing asks the viewer to read the relationships between images.
